You wake up in the morning and you’re late again,
and you whisper to yourself : “well tomorrow then, I’ll try”,
you remember who you were in the early days,
and you regret the time you wasted in so many ways and why!

you walk down the aisles chasing bits of a life,
making up for things you missed, a love you had…once had,
shall you give in, take a pill or use a cold knife,
fix yourself with false hope? how sad…how sad.

CHORUS
All is fine as far as I can see,
I never blame them, why do they blame me,
All is fine as far as I can see,
I never blame her, why does she blame me.

you once told her she’s the only hope within,
as her face’d tremble between a grin an’ a sigh,
you let her down like you did with everyone else,
didn’t she tell you: “never give in or ill die and you will die” ?

now that she’s gone and you’re left all alone,
and the shadows haunt you all through your day…everyday,
will you sip the hope of a fresh new dawn,
or will you gulp the bitterness in the usual way…your way.

CHORUS
All is fine as far as I can see,
I never blame them, why do they blame me,
All is fine as far as I can see,
I never blame you, why do you blame me.

END
